I wouldn't think so, maybe a case could be made for your ale giving a plus 1 and going to 13, but that's up to the game master.

technically not correct but a allows it. the 12 is on the crew and the weapon, it has a goblin on it but they are moving away from it. but your rolls was so good so no the less its two hits. whit a human operating it. it has a hit chance of +5
