I took a few pictures today which caused me to realize that the majority of our days are spent either blogging or eating, or in some cases, both.
Coconuts π₯₯
Β Β Β More and more I am trying to publish a post every day, even when time is short and I don't have anything special in mind. So for today I decided to just take photos and let the text manifest afterwards. In the above you can see Monkey-B performing one of her favorite all-time activities, scraping coconut meat from the shell with a spoon.
Β Β Β Before Monkey-B was old enough to walk properly she was scraping coconut jelly and meat like a professional. You can see in the above photo that she enters some sort of meditative state while working on her coconut.
π¨βπ³ Cincinnati Chili Time πΆοΈ
Β Β Β Today @Sreypov and Srey-Yuu (@KidSisters) weren't feeling well this afternoon, so I decided to cook lunch for the family. I decided to prepare Monkey-B's favorite, Cincinnati Chili, or at least my #plantbased interpretation of it. I don't know why she likes this dish so much, but I prepare it by special request at least once a week.
Β Β Β Srey-Yuu was battling a headache and had just woken up to eat lunch when I took this photo. Monkey-B lifted the pasta pot lid to give big sister easier access, her little way of showing some love and desire to help.
Β Β Β Cincinnati Chili smiles are usually the biggest ones from Monkey-B, so I made sure to take a picture, and Monkey-B decided decided to add a double-thumbs up, truly humbling this Dad-chef.
Time To Eat π΄ Now Time For Hive π©βπ»
Β Β Β After lunch Srey-Yuu played Splinterlands with Monkey-B assuming the role of assistant coach, and I reminded her to drink water, something I hadn't seen her do for 24 hours, and perhaps the source of her headache. Pov layed in the hammock making a draft in her iPhone because she still doesn't like using a computer.
