Since the part of Innsbruck where I work is full of offices, the surrounding shops have adopted the sortiment accordingly. Basic shop like Spar is actually half full of various pre-cooked foods, microwave-ready packages and many many salads. They also have vegan part of the shop.
CFT - Cruelty Free Tuesday
With my latest experiments with various diet changes and hacks (fasting, enema, lowering animal products) came also the idea for this. Especially because my colleagues named Tuesday "McDay"..means they go to McDonalds. I never joined them as I totally despise McDonalds. Soo instead, I've decided to counter their disgusting burgers with some nice and environment friendly meals. Here's my today's choice:
Vegan department in Spar
I'm not gonna lie, these things are expensive AF. No idea why. The package of falafel was for 2 Euros each. Cooked lentils "salad" was for 3 euros. Versions with meat were cheaper. Chicken pieces are for 1.5 Euro and chicken salad is for 2 euros. Why the hell is plant-based food more expensive than meat? I'm not gonna lie - I would usually take the meat option if it's not a weekend (I do meat-free weekends). So I realized this price difference just now. Why's that??
Plastic, plastic, plastic...
Also, there's still no plastic bin in our office, soo I'm taking these plastic containers home with me :) Al all plastic bottles from my whole team :D
