I don’t believe in destiny but I do believe that sometimes fortunate events occur that appear as if they were destined to be.

For example; I can trace everything that has happened in the past 15 years back to the outcome of a single conversation that I had with a person who I barely knew. If I hadn’t made a decision following that conversation then my life right now would be drastically different from what it is today.

That’s not destiny though. It’s the butterfly effect.

        Exactly, just like you said, the simple act of speaking to someone may open so many doors.

        I could've delivered the meal and carry on with my tasks (it was a busy day), but instead I took some time to stay there and chat.

        In fact the coincidences didn't stop, there were more, but I didn't add or else the text would be way to big.
