This gives me hope jaynie as I've just started the most insane 'medical diet' there is. Check out my blog to learn more. I've gotta be on it for 3 weeks... no real food.

Hmnnn... in regards to advice, especially just general weight loss, I'm not really that good as all my knowledge comes from the perspective of a SIBO sufferer. I've heard good things about plant based :)

Lol, but I'll shut up about me now ;-) I intend to transition off this medical diet by only eating specific organic veg for at least a week before trialing trigger foods (gluten, soy, corn, diary, eggs) one by one. It is going to be hard but worth it if it solves a certain chronic health condition that lays me low.

It's encouraging to read about someone else managing to live well on a restricted diet. I have a lot of stubborn grit to power on through crazy three week treatments like the one I just started but a lot of that comes from seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.... where I can sit down with a bowl of nice pasta covered with cheese. Ha ha, not this time.
