These lock holes from one of my gates were miscalculated. The gap is far too big and the holes are a bit too small and unaligned. Unfortunately I wasn't there from the beginning construction of the house. Bending them towards each other would skew the alignment and leaving them like this would required a rather specific lock. making the holes larger would weaken the security.

So all that's left is to cut them and attach/solder better ones. Thankfully these are a second lock and the first one is functional.
