It is quite something to absorb all at once. The other day I had a brief conversation with my sister about what I am doing. She kind of understood it. We were on the phone so I couldn't see her face but I could hear in her voice that she had some kind of clue what I was talking about. I even got a bit about Splinterlands in there as well.
The fact that you got to put a bit of Splinterlands in there and she didn't mark you down for crazy says that she definitely had some understanding. xD Don't get started about dCity just yet.

I tried to get a friend into this recently and he was interested at first but then lost it when I was trying to explain that there’s so many things that go into it. I don’t know what turned him off but it was sad to experience!
Some people just aren't the blogging kind. I had a similar situation where a friend understood what was going on and said he'd rather buy and trade crypto than write about stuff. To each their own I guess.
Do you plan on asking your friend what turned him off?
I have tried to explain and hive and the different ways we can earn money on this blockchain and they always have a confused look of disbelief.
I have a few friends that are on the fence, so I gave them the Hive Guide, I am hoping they will at the very least ask some questions.
I know that confused look, some of them even ask what kind of scam I'm running. xD True. The Hive Guide is also a good resource, now that you mention it.
Lol, I think adding the explanation of Steemit to the mix would confuse them even more though. xD

Slow and steady is a good approach. In the same way I told a friend to write a blog post first, and that the rest will come later.
