Marketing like anything of value dictates some level of intimacy which will not be found from a guru with an online degree in business administration. Marketing means understanding the clients abilities, resources, needs, and most importantly the market in which the target demographics exist.
I appreciate the guru and their hustle though it's just not a pitfall I'm going to fall into..

I agree I think since everyone is now seeing themselves as marketers it’s now become this thing about being too clever and using all these digital tools and forgetting the real value behind the profession
I have nothing against guru marketers they selling their product and if people buy it more power to them! I just don’t think there’s some silver bullet because if they figured it out they wouldn’t be selling course they’d be selling well literally anything
