I found the weather there colder than in the UK. Probably less grey too.
I'll have to remember that... Does it also depend on where in the UK?

Same for me! Which is now hahahaa !LOL
But I try to manage. I know now that 16 - 17 degrees Celsius inside is my limit (for now) and then I need to warm up. Below 5 degrees outside is my limit and I know that I need to layer even more.
Most places in the UK are pretty much the same when it comes to horrible weather. In the south like Cornwall (the Cornish, who sometimes consider themselves separate), might be more pleasant because of the many palm trees and a little milder wind.
Good luck with coping with the winter, and layering up is the best thing to do π

Oh I've read and heard so much about Cornwall... I pictured it to be colder because it's near the sea, but good to know as I've also want to visit someday.
