In the south like Cornwall (the Cornish, who sometimes consider themselves separate), might be more pleasant because of the many palm trees and a little milder wind.

Oh I've read and heard so much about Cornwall... I pictured it to be colder because it's near the sea, but good to know as I've also want to visit someday.
