I have written some pretty good critiques of Steem and tried to change the direction of it.
"Nobody plans to fuck this place over. Nearly everyone wants this place to be successful, and we don't know what needs to be done to make it successful. "
Precisely why things will be "fucked over" because a bunch of people don't understand what to do. You just agreed with me.
Basically most of Steemit INC needs to be fired and better qualified people need to be brought in.
They don't know how to run their company, don't know how to focus on deliverables, don't understand how to use social media to promote themselvs, don't understand how to grow, don't understand many things.
"Also, if you're in management or business and an employee consistently threatens to quit, you hold the door open for them. They're not a strong asset if all they do is crack under pressure and threaten to quit every time something goes wrong."
I never "threatened to quit from Steemit INC" nor do I work for them. I am criticizing their problems and giving solutions.
Myself, I manage 500 million USD in business for a bunch of manufacturing plants.
I would have fired MOST of Steemit INC at this point because they are inept.
I said I am powering down 100% of my Steem and selling it. It isn't a good investment to have due to all of Steemit INCs problems.
There is already an extremely mature place to create smart contracts called Ethereum that has been around longer, withstood tons of tests, has all the developers making things on it(seriously its 1,000s of devs maybe 10,000+). Steemits SMTs are going to be buggy for years and have problems. Ethereum is already mature and past that and getting better with each time.
If Steem didn't have a mechanism for rewards nobody would be here. That's really all it has going for it and also being "first" to have such a thing.
Minds/Dlive(LINO) and other platforms are way more successful in a shorter amount of time. That shows Steemit INC doesn't know what they are doing when competitors can easily out grow Steem in a shorter time frame.
It all goes back to the top. The leadership isn't accountable for anything. I have spoken with other people on Steemit who are also in the business world and have 100s or 1000s of employees, we all agree Steemit INC largely needs to be fired and started over with.
