Five weeks of engagement as scored by the Engagement League to catch up on, and I need a couple of you guys to help distribute ENGAGE far and wide.

I'd like some feedback and ideas on how to distribute my token, ENGAGE.
Today I have sent some ENGAGE tokens to the accounts listed below. These accounts have appeared in the top 10 of the Engagement League at some point (and in many cases, repeatedly) over the past 5 weeks.
I decided on the following rather simple criteria to give me a number of tokens to issue:
1st - 3rd = 150 ENGAGE
4th - 7th = 100 ENGAGE
8th - 10th = 50 ENGAGE
And so the sends are as follows:

Big fish supporters (that have basically funded my Steem existence thus far and allow me to do shit like this) have also received some tokens: @abigail-dantes, @acidyo, @anomadsoul, @flipstar, @fulltimegeek, @imacryptorick, @kevinwong, @krnel, @meesterboom, @smasssh, @tarazkp, @v4vapid, and @yabapmatt.
Whilst I think that the Engagement League is a fair way to issue ENGAGE, there are also some drawbacks with only using this approach:
I estimate that using only this method to distribute tokens, with the numbers used above, that it will take approximately 18.2 years to issue the lot
In 5 weeks, 'only' 17 people (out of a possible 50) have earned tokens
Repeating myself here - I'm under no illusion that ENGAGE will be worth more at any point than a pat on the back, but to give them a fighting chance I think they need to be distributed more widely.

If you are present, powering-up, like to curate (which for today means reading posts AND comments), maybe you can help?
In order for me to track and issue the tokens (which I hope can be automated in the future), I will need something like the below adding to a comment you leave under a reply to a comment on a post.
I don't believe a post itself to be the engagement, but spark the engagement, and so majority of the tokens should go to the commentator.
100 tokens issued per curation with something like a 50% Commentator / 30% Post author / 20% Curator split.

I want the process to be fun and not feel like a job, for me or for the accounts issuing the tokens.
The tokens should hopefully go to people who give interesting, funny, intelligent replies to content. Ideally, the comment has sparked a thread of replies, but depending on the Post authors 'popularity', this may not always be the case - It will be up to the curators to decide.
I have a few names in mind for the initial 'team', and presence in the EL will likely be used as a background check.
Anyone can apply though, or (and maybe this would hold more weight) put a name forward for the role.
