HIVE OPEN MIC WEEK 139 || MINEFIELD DUET COVER (ENG-ESP)

Hello everyone, it's Hive open mic week 139 and for this week, I and my brother @justin.ahama did a duet of a song. This week, we were given a theme The work of true love. I've always been planning on doing a duet with my brother and we have the plan of doing the cover of MINEFIELD by Faouzia and John Legend and looking at this week's theme, I knew this was the perfect time to do that duet and there it is.

The song talks about how love is not just said but something we put into action. From the lyrics of the song, you see how these two lovers (of course not Faouzia and John Legend, hehe) are so into each other that despite the fights and misunderstandings they've had, they still somehow come back together. They seem to be blinded by the love they have for each other, I said blinded because they are both ready to go through a minefield!!! to get to see each other.

Now the question some might ask is, what is a minefield? Well from what I know, a minefield is that field where soldiers or trespassers walk through and they step on something and once they move, the thing they step on explodes immediately. That is to say, a minefield is a place where explosives are hidden or should I say are planted. If you don't have good knowledge of the area then it's very unlikely for you to survive passing through that field.

But then, in this song, these lovers were ready to go through a minefield just to make sure they get to be together. Like, they are ready to loose their lives or a part of their body, you can imagine how much love they both have for each other. I will say this is love in action and not just in words unlike most of the people we see that claim to be in love today. A friend once told me, it is not by saying you love someone but by really loving them through your actions.

Hola a todos, es la semana 139 de micrófono abierto de Hive y para esta semana, mi hermano @justin.ahama y yo hicimos una canción a dúo. Esta semana, nos dieron un tema La obra del verdadero amor. Siempre había planeado hacer un dueto con mi hermano y tenemos el plan de hacer la portada de MINEFIELD de Faouzia y John Legend y mirando el tema de esta semana, sabía que era el momento perfecto para hacer ese dueto y ahí está. es.

La canción habla de cómo el amor no solo se dice, sino que es algo que ponemos en acción. Por la letra de la canción, ves cómo estos dos amantes (por supuesto, no Faouzia y John Legend, jeje) están tan enamorados que, a pesar de las peleas y los malentendidos que han tenido, de alguna manera vuelven a estar juntos. Parecen estar cegados por el amor que se tienen, dije cegados porque ambos están listos para atravesar un campo minado!!! para llegar a vernos.

Ahora, la pregunta que algunos podrían hacerse es, ¿qué es un campo minado? Bueno, por lo que sé, un campo minado es ese campo donde los soldados o los intrusos caminan y pisan algo y una vez que se mueven, lo que pisan explota inmediatamente. Es decir, un campo minado es un lugar donde se esconden o mejor dicho se plantan explosivos. Si no tiene un buen conocimiento del área, es muy poco probable que sobreviva al pasar por ese campo.

Pero luego, en esta canción, estos amantes estaban listos para atravesar un campo minado solo para asegurarse de estar juntos. Como si estuvieran listos para perder la vida o una parte de su cuerpo, puedes imaginar cuánto amor se tienen el uno al otro. Diré que esto es amor en acción y no solo en palabras, a diferencia de la mayoría de las personas que vemos hoy que afirman estar enamoradas. Un amigo me dijo una vez, no es diciendo que amas a alguien sino amándolo realmente a través de tus acciones.
