It came with a balance
of nothing than activities
speaking to my mind
what I needed to do for myself.
Not to go too far
but I should always know
it will still work as planned.
A call at home
a call of success
and good prayers
to always keep to time
to always show
in touch with family
in touch with friends.
This poem tries to point to light how frequent we communicate with our friends and family, And talking about home on this poem, it does not really focused on our immediate home alone, but it covers so much than that, it has something to say about a friend, a relative, a coworker, and also our family.
what is the poem main focus is about the people we love and care about, and it tries to reminds us how best we should engaged with them on a daily basis, irrespective of our busy schedules, and plans.
Speaking from my end, I saw my sister's call this morning, i picked it up thinking it was her, but i heard a young boy voice. It was my nephew, and he greeted me "Good morning, and i replied in good manners.
He asked how i am doing, which is a very good thing from him, and to the extent, I understand that he is growing and understanding life very fast. He then proceed to tell me that, his friend is back in town, and he was so happy when he comes back from visiting his Aunt in the city.
He then proceed that, something else he want to tell me is that, I don't call more often like I used to do, so I should be calling. This words from him makes me to understand how daily activities has taken much of my time, and also make me for a bit to forget about what I need to do timely.
But it is good we are reminded of an important thing like this, because most times we can know everything.
