It's my first participating in this initiative like I said in my video and I'm excited and curious about what I have to share towards this initiative every week henceforth. I've been letting procrastination take the better part of me in participating in this but not anymore so yeah, expect some music cover from me every Sunday.
I gave some thought on what creativity I have to share regarding music aside just singing and I decided to do covers of songs from different movies, of course the ones I've seen as I'll be more familiar with them and it will be easier to learn them and do any extra work available on them.

For this Sunday, I chose to share my cover of a song from the movie "Moana" titled "How Far I'll Go" and I loved Alessia Cara's version more so I did a cover of hers. I want to believe that a lot of us have seen the animated movie "Moana" for those who enjoy animated movies, maybe familiar with the story line, where this music was sang and what it meant.
I had so much fun learning this song again even though I sang it a lot from long ago when I saw the movie. The song is about a little girl whose dream to explore the sea keeps calling her and she was fighting not to listen to the call because of her parents being against the idea of her going close to the water.
It's an English song and a special version as it was covered by Alessia Cara, a talented artist who has sang a lot of other songs of her own so I appreciate her singing a cover of this song, making me do a more creative cover of it with her cover as a guideline. If you listened to the song before my cover, you'd agree that there are significant differences but it's for you to decide if you like this cover better or the original.
Didn't had any difficulty on the song since I've been singing it for a long time but I'd love to know what you think about my cover of a cover of the song 😅 your feedbacks will be very much appreciated.
