I Am Alive! π±
My last post for this challenge was 3 days ago. That doesn't mean that I have been inactive for three days on Hive. On the contrary. But I did dial it down a bit to catch my breath. So I did do one post each day, which means I didn't have the 'energy' to do a second one for #IAAC.
And that brings me to the topic: Push yourself, but not too much. A mental burnout is the Achilles heel to human productivity. And a physical burnout doesn't sound fun at all, even though I haven't had one of those. You need to know the limitations of your body and your mind. When is too much. And when are you in the danger zone. Once you are in that danger zone, you need to slow down and recharge. I can't think of any instance that would be worth choosing going past that limit over your own health. But sometimes we do make that decision, for monetary gain or sentimental reasons. With proper planning you can prevent ever having to make this dreaded choice.
Try to change that thought-process and know your well-being comes first. So push yourself to reach your life goals, but with restraint, else you risk early arrival at the ultimate end goal. :)
Now for an appropriate daily funny image to balance out all the drama.
