The morning began peacefully, accompanied by a cup of hot coffee, the aroma of which wafted throughout the room, inspiring me to begin my day. Savoring each sip, I opened my phone and began writing a post for the PhotographyLovers community, sharing my photographs and the stories behind the shots. Morning moments like these are always the most enjoyable warm, inspiring, and a welcome start to a productive day.
After finishing my post, I continued sewing a peci (traditional prayer cap) for religious purposes. The sound of the sewing machine whirring became my constant companion in the morning silence, accompanied by the sunlight beginning to filter through the window. I executed each stitch meticulously, as I believe a neat piece of work is a sign of respect for the wearer. Time seemed to pass quickly, and before I knew it, noon arrived, signaling a short break before continuing with my next activity.
Towards evening, around 2:00 WIB, I prepared to leave for the rice fields. The air felt warmer, but the breeze from the rice fields kept the atmosphere cool and calming. There, I began to build a seedbed, preparing the first steps for the next planting season. I also cleared the borders of the rice fields of weeds that were starting to grow thickly, then buried the weeds in the soil so they would decompose and become natural fertilizer. Each movement felt tiring, but there was a certain satisfaction in seeing the land become tidier and ready for planting.
Afternoons in the rice fields always brought a special serenity. The sky slowly changed color, birds returned to their nests, and the sounds of insects began to be heard. At times like these, I often paused, took a breath, and enjoyed the beautiful natural scenery.
The day ended with gratitude for the time, energy, and opportunities I had been given because every day lived with hard work and sincerity always brings peace to my heart.
