This morning I started my day with a steaming hot cup of coffee, its distinctive aroma so soothing and energizing to get through my routine. After a few sips, I immediately got ready for my routine of delivering bread to my favorite shops around Krueng Geukueh, North Aceh Regency.
Today was arguably the longest and most congested route. The winding roads and the considerable distance between shops added to the challenge. However, it was all enjoyable because every shop I visited felt like family, always welcoming me with a warm smile and a friendly greeting.
On the way, I stopped at the pier. A gentle sea breeze blew, bringing the calming salty aroma of the coast. In the distance, several fishing boats moored in striking colors, like a living painting against the sparkling blue water. I sat for a moment, enjoying the view, allowing my mind to rest amidst the busyness.
Shortly after, I found a shady spot under a tree near the pier. There, I began separating the empty bread boxes from the filled ones, ensuring everything was neatly arranged so as not to get mixed up. This simple moment felt so meaningful accompanied by the sound of small waves breaking the silence and a refreshing breeze.
Today's journey was long, but full of meaning. Every step, every shop, and every sight I encountered became part of a small, daily story filled with gratitude. Sometimes it was tiring, sometimes it rained, but there was always something beautiful to be grateful for amidst the routine.
