This morning I started my day with a cup of hot, soothing coffee. While enjoying my coffee, I sat in front of my phone screen to write a freewrite post on Hive just pouring out my thoughts, stories, and daily activities that I wanted to share with my friends online. It felt so good to start the day with writing, as if it gave me renewed energy to carry on with the next activity.
After finishing writing and uploading the post, I moved on to my main task this morning: sewing a peci (traditional Islamic prayer cap) for religious purposes. The thread and fabric I had prepared yesterday were finally used to complete several orders. The sound of the sewing machine whirring became my constant companion until midday. There was a special satisfaction in each finished peci a handiwork that could benefit others and also be part of my religious obligations.
Towards noon, after the sewing was finished, I continued my activities outside the house. I brought a sprayer and dry pesticide to clear the weeds growing around the rice paddy borders.
In the afternoon, after showering, I walked around the rice paddy area to relax my mind after a long day of work. The cool afternoon air and gentle breeze created a sense of serenity, while the view of the verdant rice fields soothed my soul. There I sat for a moment, enjoying the natural beauty, listening to the trickling sound of water from the irrigation canal, and letting all my fatigue slowly melt away with the falling dusk.
