I start my mornings with a cup of hot coffee, my constant companion before I begin my activities. The fragrant aroma and warmth of the coffee make the morning feel more peaceful. As I sip my coffee, I prepare myself for my daily routine, which has become part of my daily routine: delivering bread to several regular shops around Lhokseumawe City. This activity is not just a job, but also a chance to interact with the shop owners who have become familiar and become part of my daily journey.
After delivering the bread to several locations, I take a stroll through the small alleys of the coastal residential area. The fresh sea air combined with the gentle sound of the waves creates a sense of tranquility. Watching the residents bustling about their own lives brings the morning atmosphere to life. Simple sights like this always inspire me to continue my day with gratitude and enthusiasm.
When I get home, I continue with another equally important task: making several peci (traditional prayer caps). Sewing peci has become a routine activity that I enjoy. Each stitch has its own meaning, as through this small creation, I can share the benefits with others. This activity also brings me inner peace, as it's carried out with meticulous care and a sense of responsibility.
From midday to late afternoon, I continue my work in the rice fields, which will be planted in a few days. Working in the rice fields always presents both challenges and satisfaction. I begin by tidying the land and ensuring the soil is ready for planting. Although tired, there's a sense of satisfaction in seeing the results of my hard work, which slowly builds hope for a good harvest.
Ending the day by looking out at the expanse of rice fields under the afternoon sun is a beautiful moment of reflection, reminding me to always be grateful for every opportunity and the fruits of my hard work today.
