The morning began with a peaceful atmosphere and fresh air. I enjoyed a cup of hot coffee while gazing out at the yard, savoring every sip as a boost of enthusiasm to start the day. Afterward, I continued my routine of sewing a peci (traditional prayer cap) for worship. I tidied each stitch one by one, because for me, good work isn't just about appearance, but also about a sincere intention to create something useful for others.
Toward noon, I went to the rice fields to observe the progress of the rice plants, now seven days old after planting. However, the sight there was quite heartbreaking some parts were starting to turn red, a sign that the plants weren't doing well. I examined each row of rice, trying to figure out the cause, hoping that things would improve soon with proper care.
In the afternoon, after all the work was done, I decided to take a break and spend some time with my family. We went for a motorcycle ride along the shady village roads. The cool evening breeze felt on our faces, calming us after a long day of work. We stopped by the side of the road for a meal together a simple meal, but one that felt special because it was shared together.
