Mornings always have a simple, meaningful story. As usual, I start my day by going to the rice fields to check on the water levels. Water is the lifeblood of rice plants, so ensuring adequate and even flow is crucial every day. That morning, the water level was still quite good, although some areas were starting to dwindle and needed further attention.
After finishing my work in the rice fields, I returned home and resumed sewing. This activity has become a helpful side hustle, especially when I have free time during the day. Sewing provides a sense of calm, unlike the more strenuous work in the fields.
However, today there was a slight problem. The sprayer I usually use was broken and could no longer be used. The rice plants were in dire need of extra care, especially to control the pests that had begun to appear. Without further ado, I decided to go buy a new sprayer to avoid delays.
I also purchased pesticide for the rice in preparation for the next spraying session. Pests are indeed one of the biggest challenges in farming. If they are not addressed properly, they can have a significant impact on the harvest.
Therefore, I try to always be alert and not delay in handling them. Today may seem simple, but it's filled with small, crucial steps. From water control to sewing to purchasing new equipment, it's all part of the effort to ensure maximum yields.
Hopefully, the rice plants will remain healthy and the harvests will be satisfactory.
