Hey friends of Hive
It’s another beautiful day, and I want to share with us an amazing performance. It’s a reggae version of "Yeshua" by Jesus Image and you are glorious by Chris Delvan
I was sitting down today, reminiscing on what to do and post that could bless lives in this space. Then boom, this very idea came to me to sing a reggae version of Yeshua.
*"Yeshua" by Jesus Image* is originally a worship and slow song, but I wanted to do something new. So I went on YouTube and got a reggae drum loop by Pocket Jam. Coincidentally, my friend happened to visit me, and he is learning how to play the keyboard. I decided to engage him as well and together, we gave it our best!
Though we did two different songs, the second one is "You Are Glorious" by Chris Delvan.
"Yeshua" and "You Are Glorious (Yahweh)" are songs of worship to God. These songs adore God and glorify the name of the Lord. They give all the glory to God alone, excluding man from the equation just declaring His majesty and telling Him how beautiful He is.
For the flow or progression we used in the songs:
For "Yeshua", we started with RE, LA, DOH, and SOH. We decided not to play anything complicated just to flow with a simple progression.
For *"You Are Glorious (Yahweh)"*, I started with DOH, SOH, RE, and LAH for the first movement, and the second movement was FAH, SO, and LAH.
Feel free to share your thoughts with us musically for growth and learning.
Thank you so much for going through my post.
Remain blessed 🙏.
