Afri-tunes Christmas Event is here ooo!!!
We invite all Musicians: Vocalists, Instrumentalists, Song writers, Music composers and Orchestra musicians, to join us in creating a special vibe on Hive for the Christmas season as a way of displaying love, unifying every culture and language through music, and promoting the love and joy of Christmas.

PRESENTATION REQUIREMENTS
Each participant of the Afri-tunes Christmas Event is invited to compose or present a cover of a Christmas song in any native language (including English) of his or her choice.
Give your best and don’t frown while singing...
Express your song through any African musical genre or style: Afrobeat, Afro-Jazz, Amapiano, Highlife, Makossa, Soukous, Sebene, Fuji, Tungba, Juju, Ogene, Apala, Palm Wine Groove... etc.
OR
- Express your song through any genre which has elements or influences of African tunes in it: Reggae, Samba, Salsa, Calypso, Rumba, Afro-Venezuelan music, Blues and Gaita Zuliana... etc.
- Videos should be exclusively for the Afri-tunes Event
NB: For instrumentalists who would play without singing, try, if you can, to include a YouTube link to the same song sung by a choir so that listeners may more readily connect with the tune.
- If you wish to present other African tunes in-line with our weekly contest, feel free to use the title AFRI-TUNES WEEK 41 and #afrwk41 tag instead.
Always remember to spread the love, the calmness, the smiles, the culture, the songs and the dance associated with African tunes.
