Hello AFRI-TUNES week 39.
It’s your girl Angiesings with cover of Omeka nnaya by Mercy Chinwo. Im so excited that was the 1st runner up for Week 38 . My sincere appreciation to @afritunes. I believe i will be taking the crown one of these days to come.

My entry of this week is one of the toughers songs i have ever done. Though Im a Ghanaian, the song always moves me when ever i hear it. I decided to do this song even though I do not understand all the words but the song always moves something within of me.

There is this part that says men may not understand how far you have brought me and I think that’s my most favorite part of the song. Sometimes until people have actually seen what and where you are coming from they wouldn’t really appreciate it.

I bet we all have untold stories and deep within only we can best tell how good God has been to us. That was my inspiration for choosing this song. I really think songs are one of the best ways to express the things we least speak about
I am sure there are some of us thy can relate and attest to the fact that we have only come this far not by our own might or by our strength.
I want to use this opportunity to thank all my friends for you support and for accepting me into this beautiful family for all your support so far. You have been a blessing .

first of all I Congratulate you for becoming the 1st runner up of our afritunes event for week 38, you did something so exceptional to be noticed dear @angiesings

You have made a very good and important point here, men may not understand until they have a taste of where you are coming from or the shoes you're in..
As usual you sing greatly I must say, and I love the smiles you are radiating, together with your amazing singing techniques makes your entry a wonderful one, thank you for taking into account to explain in detail your song and those beautiful sourcing. You are a great personality and we are happy to have you around in our dear afritunes community...

Oh yes, they are.

First, the fact that you're a Ghanian but you sang the song perfectly like you're from Igbo is wonderful, even me I still can't sing the song funky having heard it for so long.

Then your beautiful soprano voice is what gets my attention coupled with your smiles. You did great dear. Congrats 🎊
