Hello Hive afritunes community week #61. My name is @jesus-son and I come here with my entry for the weekly challenge. I am glad I am able to reconnect with my trumpet lessons after a long while. So I am still learning o, incase u want to criticize my play just do so constructively so I see where to put more effort in. Thank you.
For this week as I have highlighted above, I will be doing an instrumental cover of a song by my mentor in Music in the person of Nathaniel Bassey. The title of the song is "Carry Me". In this song, he surrenders himself to the power of the spirit of God to lead him to greater heights and more importantly to heaven.
It is important as a believer in Christ to understand the role of the Holy Spirit in our lives. First of all, the Spirit is God's mark of ownership in our lives such that we can do nothing well in our Christian journey without the help of the Holy Spirit. It is by the sprit that we are saved for it was through the Spirit that Mary conceived and bore a son who redeemed the world.
Jesus ascended to heaven and sent the Spirit to remain with us so as to help us in our confusions and anxieties. It is quite interesting how He helps us: to pray, to live right, to go to the right places at the right time and relate well with people around.
For people like @jessicaossom the Holy Spirit should be their best friend base on Church gal levels, hehe. Oh and @maryjacy too. Na recently I discover say she do church business pass ossom sef, hehe. No mind me o, I too like play.
Ehe, as I was saying, in this entry I bring you the good news of the Holy Spirit. Let us commit ourselves in the hands of God's spirit and surrender ourselves to Him. Let Him guide, guard and lead us in the way we should go. It is the best thing we can achieve in our lives to have the Holy Spirit as our best friend. *Omo na e b say u don make am o, hehe.
