Hello Hive Afri-tunes week #58, my name is jesus-son and I come here with a beautiful song for the weekly challenge. I hope you will like it.

Appreciation is one thing in life that can open doors for great favors. The heart that is always grateful will always be favored. An Igbo adage says that when the mighty is praised for doing something good, he will be willing to do more. This is a natural phenomenon in any man. Thus,it is a virtue to learn to say thank You whenever you receive a favor from someone.

Growing up, my mother always taught me to always say thank you when I am given something and to say sorry without hesitation when I offend someone. She always said that those words have healing powers and are capable of making one's life heaven or hell. I have tried to uphold this teaching and it is in that spirit that I bring you a cover of a song of appreciation.

Sometime last two weeks or so, @onos-f and @ksam did a beautiful instrumental cover of the song Mungode Allah and I got inspired to try to present it too in this community. I know say @ksam go say I be copy copy, hehe but I no mind sha, lolz.

The song "mungode Allah" is an Hausa song of thanksgiving to God. It was composed by the great church music composer Sir Jude Nnam. He is very good in composing many nice hymns and he does it in different languages but more in Igbo.

Mungode Allah is a song that expresses gratitude to God for leading us thus far in life. God is always good and supplies all our needs and as such we need to be grateful.

I am really glad to be singing this song in this community and I wish you will love it. I didn't have much difficulty in doing it as it is a song that is well known to me. Thank you for being so supportive of my ministry, lolz.

Lyrics

Domin ka kawo (Because you brought us)
Mu a wannan ranan yau(to this very day)

Mun gode Allah (We give you thanks Oh Lord)
Mun gode Allah (We give you thanks Oh Lord)

Mun gode Allah (We give you thanks Oh Lord)
Mun gode Allah (We give you thanks Oh Lord))
Mun gode (Thank You)

Allah Sarki (Christ the King)

What a beautiful harmony of that theme, besides you interpreted it in a masterful way! It is already a habit to see your virtuosity on the keyboard and second voices, excellent my brother.
