For this week, I decided to sing Joy by Wizkid because this is one of my favorite Wizkid songs.
I have been a wizkid fan since “holla at your boy” and trust me when I say I haven't related to a song like this one.
The lyrics are so meaningful, and most Nigerian children would relate to their mothers saying encouraging words like this to them.
For me, my mother’s words are a motivation daily for me to not give up, and hearing this song is a reminder of those words.
