Love is such a powerful tool, it can make and break, cause wars and even heal nations, but one thing that can happen when you fall in love is heartbreak and unrequited love.
As humans we were created to love, we feel empty when we don't have love and we often crave it, but what happens when you fall in love and the person you love doesn't love you back or even falls out of love halfway, well, “we get hurt”.
A while ago, I got to experience my first heartbreak at my big age, I kept questioning myself, and even though eventually, I got over it; faster than I even thought I would, it still hurt a whole lot to the point where I practically shut the world out.
While going through this I began listening to this song, I had always loved it but I never connected to it as deeply as I did during this time and it felt really comforting.
