This is week #87 on afritunes. I am @rukkie and it's the start of another beautiful week.
I did enjoy my weekend as I was able to get enough sleep. I must confess that it's been a long time I slept for a long hours like that. My bed was my companion and I didn't care for anything else. Well except for food of course 😃😃😃.
I tried to present the secular song suggested by the community but I don't know why the song is not yet connecting. Maybe because I slept for so long this weekend that my brain is not up for learning a new song.
So for this week, I decided to present a song by a Nigerian artist named Niyola and the song is titled "Toh Bad" which can be translated to "Crazy In Love".
The song describes intense love for one's significant other. I love the way she sang passionately conveying the message of how much she loves her man despite his many faults. As it was seen in the music video how her partner fails to tell the world, he has someone special to him. In his words, he said "I am single and ready to mingle" and after all the stunts he pulled, she still took him back.
Well personally, I wouldn't do that. I mean If you can't shout my name through the rooftops and let the whole world knows we belong to each other, then I am gone. But I guess we all love differently.
