The drive to tokenize everything confuses me. SMTs are interesting, but at this stage for most projects, it seems a little silly. It is as if Steem has no value or no stable coin. Gives more power and incentive to the developers though which could help.

Most tokens don't make sense to be tokens. The first question I always ask myself is 'why does this need a token?' and if I don't have a good answer for it I steer clear.
So let me get this straight you need money and id to sign up for an exchange, then buy bitcoin then trade for steem then buy future token to play a game that is early in deleopment and rewards is future token?
