Hard to believe it only took three years of trying, I mean to get married of course, not to perfect the beard-proof mask. I never thought South American and the Caribbean would feel too European/western, but it does after living so long in Cambodia. Strangely, moving to Albania will give us a less European and more Cambodian-esque way of life that we miss and long for. We'd love to have 5-10 years of stability somewhere on Earth before we get too old to work, might give us a chance at opening a savings account for the first time in our lives.

Wasn't Albania too European too? Thought that was the reason you left last time. At the moment we are thinking of Ecuador. I know you didn't like it but I think we might. I remember you posting picks of cheap berries there hehehe. Peru is off the list. They are taxing all worldwide income at 30% now..... tssss.
