RE: So...Why The Turban? 👳 A Question Many People Ask Me

Do what makes you happier... to make life less burdensome, seems a wise path to follow; especially in a peaceful manner. If it becomes a burden in some respect, being open to change remains a possible cure, of which we may often resist for various, personal reasons.

I agree, and I've made many sacrifices to constantly live outside my own norms and culture. There are some things I hold dear that I will not budge on. Here in Suriname we were once invited to a Rastafari gathering, but the Suriname Rastafari said we could not enter the temple if I didn't remove my turban and if @Sreypov wouldn't cover her hair.

I thought, how bizarre, I gotta take mine off and she gotta put one. We chose to not enter and remind them JAH lives in temples not made by human hands. Needless to say we weren't a big hit with the Suriname Rastafari community. We all gotta know our personal limits I guess.

One is more apt to find the Devil lurking within Churches and Temples built by the hand of man, rather than God.
