Cliche as it is today I had a taste of what misery is like. After a week-long stay at hospital I need to seek other medical opinion for my problem. So imagine me trodding along amidst the hot tropical sun in the middle of summer with flank pains and discovering to ones horror she only have two hundred in her pocket because her automated card is not working.

To escape heat and because my belly as grumbling after waiting in queue for three hours to have my problem resolved I ate here for lunch. Place has a country feel with wooden furniture. I ordered a single buttered chicken, rice and an appetizer called "atchara" it pickled papaya.

The service was respectful and fast and the chicken to my surprise was crunchy and juicy from the inside. The side dish was disappointing though as it was devoid of other usual garnish like raisins, carrots, and red bell pepper I am accustomed to. At 75php served with cold green tea it was a value for money indeed.

The experience was like dining in your moms kitchen so to end it was true to its name. Yeah would recommend this to people in a budget but with impeccable tastebud.

I guess this is one of few restaurants I have been to that has religious books for reading. In my medical state now it was most helpful in renewing my spirit. I hope if you don't find the food review worthwhile ,the prayer I shared would be a different story.
Personally I love discovering places that's classified by many as a "hole in the wall" simply because it's fun and also because I strongly believe that a good business creates job and from a third world perspective it spells the difference between a hungry stomach and not.
