Today, I walked,
Through the woods to the ocean.
The grass tickled my bare ankles,
The trees cast their shadows cross my path,
Scattering leaves,
and other treasures along the way.
I listened.
I looked up.
down.
Straight ahead.
In observation, I made a friend.
Content, like me, in his surroundings,
I heard the waves crash,
and I arrived.
Entirely alone,
so I went for a dip.

Did you go barefoot? Last time I tried barefoot in the forest I suffered a lot. It took me much longer to walk there and it hurt like hell. But if I would have ocean so close I wouldn't probably mind some pain :)

Yes I swam! I don’t go in very deep because we have great white sharks, and I was alone. I always walk barefoot and it never bothers me!

Well I didn't expect this poem and pictures have that surprising ending @mo-nique !
And it was kinda fun... First looking at photos and before reading the line, I just challenged myself to guess what's coming after that... Well to be honest I just figured out about 2 or 3 lines!
I totally enjoyed travelling with you! I hope you enjoyed that deep ending! ;)
