In their home ground when Mumbai Indians lose a previous match against Delhi capitals at that time their fans were so much disappointment due to the performance of the team. When they arrived at Bangalore to play the second match of this season they have only one motto to win it. On the other side, Bangalore loses a match against Chennai super kings in the opening match if Indian premier league of season 12. So, both teams came with losing and both teams want a win in the match so that they can come up in point table.
It was the match between captain and vice-captain of the team India. One side Virat Kohli leading the role for royal challenger Bangalore and on another side Rohit Sharma leading Mumbai Indians. This match was played at Bangalore. The ground was small in comparison with other ground so high scoring match it was. Virat Kohli won the toss and choose to field first. Virat team came with the same team as they have against Chennai super kings. While Rohit changes the team as he included Lasith Malinga and Mayank Markande.

Quinton de Kock and Rohit Sharma open the innings for Mumbai Indians and both were playing good cricket and also they cross 50 runs in the powerplay and later on Quinton de Kock was bowled in the bowling of Yuzvendra Chahal in his first over. Later on, Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav take the inning forward and they both had a partnership of 33 runs before Rohit back to pavilion in the bowling of Umesh Yadav. Later on, Yuvraj Singh magic starts as he hit 3 sixes in three back to back balls and on the fourth ball he got out in the bowling of Yuzvendra Chahal.
Mumbai Indians middle order once again fail and so pressure comes to finisher side. Pollard and Krunal Pandya once again fail to score runs. But, Hardik Pandya one-handed helped team to had a 180 plus run on board. He had scored 32 runs in 14 balls with the help of 3 sixes and 2 boundaries. Mumbai Indian fans are happy to see 187 runs on board. Yuzvendra Chahal had the great bowling figure as he had taken 4 wickets in his spell. Moreover, Umesh Yadav takes 2 wickets in 4 overs in conceding just 26 runs.

When Royal challengers opener Parthiv Patel along with Moeen Ali came to open the innings for the team every people were shocked because everyone wants Virat Kohli to open the innings. Both openers were out inside the 7 overs and once again pressure was on Virat Kohli and De Villiers and both had a partnership of 49 runs and then Virat Kohli out in the 14th over of Jaspreet Bumrah. The way De Villiers was playing it was looking that Bangalore will win the match but the great spell of Jaspreet Bumrah which conceded 5 runs in 2 overs with taking 2 important wickets, it was the turning moment for team Mumbai Indians. As they win the match my 6 runs.
