RE: Our Hive Power Delegations to the July PUM Winners

That's unless they want to "help Hive" by letting a (large) portion of their HIVE or HBD to be swapped or converted be burned. πŸ€”πŸ”₯πŸ’ΈπŸ€―πŸ˜†πŸ€“

Sort: Β

Well, that would likely help HIVE's fiat value. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

It's a time-consuming way to "help" increase the price of HIVE or HBD though, as it requires several clicks to finish a transaction to convert/swap between HIVE and HBD (and also requires inserting the private active key every time if not already saved on #HiveKeychain or #Hivesigner). πŸ€”πŸ€―

I think that I read here on Hive about a Hive-based project which gives any Hive account certain tokens (on #HiveEngine) for every HIVE or HBD burnt. πŸ”₯πŸ€―πŸ€“

Well, I was thinking more that it would be a side benefit, rather than a primary means of doing so.

This is my first time hearing about that, interesting. I know I'd never participate, as both HIVE and HBD are far too valuable to me. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

I don't think that anyone needs to plan to "participate" in getting any token from burning HIVE or HBD, since it can be considered only a "token of appreciation" for anyone who burned any of those first-layer Hive tokens. πŸ€”πŸ€―

Anyway, I don't know where I read that project (here on Hive), because it's really hard to find it using #Ecency Search. πŸ”₯πŸ€―πŸ˜…

Ah, I see. I imagine only whales would have participated...lol!

It's apparently lost in the blockchain sands of time. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

I think that nearly all of the people on Hive who "participated" in such project were unaware that such initiative existed! πŸ€”πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸ€―

Maybe I actually read it on the blockchain where Hive emerged from and was published after the fork, so #Ecency Search will surely not find it !INDEED! πŸ˜†πŸ˜…

That statement is very confusing for me. How? Why?

Ah, maybe so, as I've never heard anything about it. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

If ever someone on Hive burned HIVE or HBD and got some tokens for it from the project, then they wouldn't have been notified that time (since even #Ecency used to not notify their users of any incoming #HiveEngine token tipping transfer, not to mention all other Hive blogging frontends have not implemented notifications for Hive Engine incoming transfers). πŸ€”πŸ€― That's the reason why most people (on and off Hive) would not be aware of such project, regardless of whether they burned HIVE and/or HBD. πŸ€―πŸ˜…
