Good day Steemian welcome to today's Steem price update for 19/3/2019 I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and changes for just over 2 years now.
I also want to mention just incase your wondering when perhaps something doesn't seem normal from the other regular Price update posts that the daily Steem price posts do occasionally change it's format from time to time.
But regardless of changes we will carry on as usual and by this I mean knowing the price of Steem as it's important for your daily plan or strategy and honestly even if you are not planing to do anything with your Steem I still recommend checking out these updates and keeping an eye on the price, so without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price Change for 19/3/2019
Should you be trading with Steem today...?
Thank you to those who have given their extra support in these last few days on trying to reach dolphin if you have read my monthly report then you may already know we are under 50-SP away from reaching dolphin, I wont continue the countdown towards dolphin any further and so the next post on the topic will be the announcement post. So please keep any of that extra support coming as we are nearly there. Anyway March 10th 2019 we saw Steem reach $0.55 which is the highest so far for the year, we also had another record this March for the year on the 13th March marking the highest reached SBD's at $1.41. With Bitcoins 2 days ago they had gone up and past the $4000 mark but now we are mostly back under. With Steem unless you haven't been paying attention you will know it's been higher lately, we beat the January high reaching $0.55. While we have been mostly above $0.45 lately we are already in a good place, Steem as been seen around position #40 amongst all the other cryptos. If you remember yesterday was a very slow downward day for Steem and today was also like that with a few bumps, we started to no surprise at $0.46 and got our first bump at ⏰01.35 taking it to $0.47 this was very brief and it was back down to $0.46. Steem stayed at $0.46 for a good while till ⏰14.05 when it then dropped to $0.45 briefly. What did surprise was at around ⏰15.50 we had a sudden upbump taking it to $0.48 but again it was quick to fall back to $0.46, so it's being steady making it some decent buying-in grounds. Anyway if not too much happens in 2019 then I hope those who are still in the game will take the opportunity to keep collecting Steem. The good news is enough as happened for us to all breathe better as Steem is no longer in survival mode, we have made it out of that era! But still the conclusion from all this is to continue the cut of the costs of nodes. Hivemind is now live the "steemd" instance size's went from 488GB RAM to now shockingly 61GB RAM! Focus is on a multi index RocksDB adapter which is a new technology in development to allow the Steem blockchain nodes to store almost all of it's necessary data to a disk in a modern database instead of RAM, this move will make nodes cheaper. Ned also said that the cost reduction progress will still remain above the creation of SMT's which I feel is the right move. Not sure if anybody else as noticed but Steemit as been acting a little weird lately with errors and long loading time's, this is because Steemit.com has been subjected to a DDoS attack again, the Steemit INC Team are working to counter the attack so please have patience if this happens to you. Steem is also now available for trading on the Huobi marketplace so if you are a U.S. resident just go to huobi.com, if you are anywhere else you could try Huobi global at hbg.com. Also if you still don't understand how your private keys work or are relatively new to Steemit you can go to the Steemitblog account for a more recent official explanation. For SBD's they broke record March 13th reaching $1.41! Currently SBD's are at a "slightly higher" pegged rate, and while it was looking like this might happen it took it's time about it. SBD's started today higher then expected at $1.02 but soon at ⏰01.30 it started with a very interesting sudden upbump to $1.13 this fell by ⏰01.40 mostly staying around $1.03 and $1.04. It continued like that until ⏰15.45 with another even more surprising upbump happening taking it to $1.35 but at ⏰16.25 it fell down to $1.07, boo. While it's a shame it fell so much it's still good to have that little extra.
