Good day Steemian welcome to today's Steem price update for 21/3/2019 I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and changes for just over 2 years now.
I also want to mention just incase your wondering when perhaps something doesn't seem normal from the other regular Price update posts that the daily Steem price posts do occasionally change it's format from time to time.
But regardless of changes we will carry on as usual and by this I mean knowing the price of Steem as it's important for your daily plan or strategy and honestly even if you are not planing to do anything with your Steem I still recommend checking out these updates and keeping an eye on the price, so without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price Change for 21/3/2019
Should you be trading with Steem today...?
Thank you to those who have given their extra support lately on trying to get us reaching dolphin, if you have read my recent monthly report then you may know already we are now under 50-SP away from reaching dolphin, and so I wont continue the countdown towards dolphin any further and the next post on the topic will be the announcement post. So please keep any of that extra support coming as we are nearly there. Anyway March 10th 2019 we saw Steem reach $0.55 which is the highest so far for the year, we also had another record in March 2019 on the 13th marking the highest reached SBD's at $1.41. Bitcoins since 4 days ago it'ss been mostly bouncing between being above and just below the $4000 mark. With Steem unless you haven't been paying attention you will know it's been higher lately, we beat the January high reaching $0.55. While we have been mostly above $0.45 lately we are already in a good place, Steem as been seen around position #40 amongst all the other cryptos. For today Steem starts a little higher than the previous day at $0.49 but Steem did have mostly a downward trend. We had a peak at ⏰02.45 but it remained between $0.48 and $0.49 until ⏰13.25 so cant complain really, Steem had a very sturdy morning. It started down bumping but it took till ⏰15.05 for it to reach it's lowest which was $0.45. But by ⏰15.30 it was back at $0.46 which is where it remained for the rest of the day. Anyway if not too much happens in 2019 then I hope those who are still in the game will take the opportunity to keep collecting Steem. No longer in survival mode the conclusion from all this is to continue cutting of the costs of nodes. Hivemind is now live the "steemd" instance size's went from 488GB RAM to now shockingly 61GB RAM! Focus is on a multi index RocksDB adapter which is a new technology in development to allow the Steem blockchain nodes to store almost all of it's necessary data to a disk in a modern database instead of RAM, this move will make nodes cheaper. Ned also said that the cost reduction progress will still remain above the creation of SMT's which I feel is the right move. Did you know that after the wallet split from steemit.com is complete that both logged in and non-logged in users will see the adds on Steemit.com, I would rather not but understand this is part of keeping us out of survival mode if it was to happen again. Steem is also available for trading on the Huobi marketplace so if you are a U.S. resident just go to huobi.com, if you are anywhere else you could try Huobi global at hbg.com. Also if you still don't understand how your private keys work or are relatively new to Steemit you can go to the Steemitblog account for a more recent official explanation. For SBD's they broke record March 13th reaching $1.41. Currently SBD's are at a "slightly higher" pegged rate, while this is still the case it did go down today similar to Steem we started with $1.07 it fell to $1.06 and even $1.05 a few times. Anyway it remained there until ⏰13.40 when it started to also fall like Steem. This took SBD's to it's lowest also around ⏰15.10 where SBD's hit the $1.00 mark. SBD's recovered to $1.02 and stayed there till ⏰21.50 when it started going upwards and at the moment around $1.04.
