You're not the only one in this though. I for example didn't know what the living situation in Nigeria is, until I met @starstrings01 on Hive and read stories from his perspective. Before I was dependent on traditional media outlets. The same with Japan and @dmilliz and you and Venezuela and of course the other fellow Hive bloggers from all "corners".

I truly believe we are at an advantage though,, because of Hive and because we're curious to learn from one another. We may not always agree, but at least we listen (read) and let it sink in. That's a step in the right direction in my humble opinion 😅.

Thanks for commenting, yes, as you say, we will not always agree, but we can understand each other and respect each other's points of view.
And being able to get to know other realities, through the daily life experiences of the natives of the country themselves, is undoubtedly the best thing.
I think we are at an advantage
