Hello Hive Open Mic community and my fellow music singers!
It's another week with a beautiful theme and I'm happy to be here once again to share my song choice for the selected theme by our spotlight artist @kococuatro

I'm choosing to share the cover of the song titled "Love Me Like You Do" by "Ellie Goulding", for the theme of the week "Sabor" meaning "Flavor or Taste".

Figuring out a song choice for this theme was a little challenging, I almost didn't want to put out an entry but this song came to mind and I could somehow relate it to the theme.

For the theme of this week in English form, Flavor or taste is something we human could get addicted to especially for the sweet tooth people like myself hehe. I have my favorite flavors and I know you have yours too, don't you just love it when you're able to enjoy your cravings?

This song is about being aware of some downsides to loving someone/something but still not letting it go. Instead, you find a comfortable balance in between and just enjoy all that is it with that person/thing. I think the song is perfect for the theme for that reason.

This is definitely one of my favorite songs in recent years, and with your color of voice it sounds more intense and passionate than the original. This is what I love about the Hive Open Mic, there is always a pleasant surprise to discover... Thank you for giving us the best of you sister 🌹
