Hello everyone, it’s Hive Music Festival Week 144 Round 3. I’m @akwash360, and in this week’s edition of the music festival, I will be doing a cover of the song “Alpha and Omega” by Eben, a Nigerian gospel singer. Eben is one of the gospel artists I loved listening to so much back in the day. So when I came across this particular song titled “Alpha and Omega,” I couldn’t help but listen to it repeatedly and also do a cover of it.
Honestly, I must say that Eben is a great singer, especially in this song, he did an outstanding job. He played his role well both as the songwriter and the lead vocalist. He led the song excellently. He knew exactly when to bring in the backup singers and was able to maintain his tone and tempo consistently throughout, without any strain or rough transition in his vocal pitch. He’s truly gifted, and I genuinely enjoy listening to his songs.
His backup singers are also amazing. I must commend the strong team behind him, committed and dedicated to delivering such powerful support. They picked up their lines and responded exactly as needed. Each of them understood their roles and executed them perfectly. Their voices were not only sweet but also strong, blending beautifully to complement the overall sound. Their harmony added so much value to the final production.
The instrumentalists, too, were incredible. Their skill level is evident that they understand their instruments so well and maintain both tempo and rhythm smoothly. The beats were powerful and flowed effortlessly with the vocals. I really appreciate their input.
