Blessed day to everyone on the Hive platform and Hive Music Festival. I warmly welcome you all to my blog ❤️. I go by the name @oluthomas.
For Hive Music Festival Week 143, Round 2, I will be singing a song cover titled Iba by Nathaniel Bassey. I was supposed to publish this entry yesterday, but I wasn’t feeling too well. Thank God, I’m getting better now. Earlier, I couldn’t even look at my phone screen because the radiation gave me serious headaches. I'm still on medication, but I tried my best to write something meaningful.
The song I chose is one of worship and adoration to God Almighty, declaring His majesty and calling Him sweet and glorious names.
The Word of the Lord says that God honors His Word more than His name. If we allow the Word of God to dwell richly in us, then whenever we open our mouths in worship, it is His Word we are using to glorify Him.
Our God is glorious and beautiful, and since we are created in His image and likeness, we too are beautiful and glorious. So if anyone tells you that you are not beautiful, just know they’re not really speaking to you they're indirectly speaking against the One who made you.
We are all awesomely and wonderfully made for the glory of God. When people look at us, they should see the beauty and radiance of God’s glory reflected in us.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed my entry. 🙏❤️
LYRICS
Blessed hath thou, Son of David
Blessed hath thou, Root of Jesse
Blessed hath thou, Son of David
Blessed hath thou, Root of Jesse
You are eminently glorious
Immaculately beautiful
I can go on and on
On and on
But my words are not enough
My vocabularies will fail me
But they make me to cry out
Iba o, Iba oo
Iba
Iba oo
Iba
Iba oo
Iba
Blessed hath thou, Rock of ages
Blessed hath thou, King of heaven
Blessed hath thou, Rock of ages
Blessed hath thou, King of heaven
You are infinitely powerful
Magnificiently wonderful
I can go on and on
On and on
But my words are not enough
My vocabularies they fail me
Permit me to bring this word of praise
Iba o, Iba oo
Iba
