This morning, I started my day by heading to the gas station to refuel. The cool morning air made the journey pleasant. After finishing my business at the gas station, I continued my morning routine with a cup of hot coffee. The distinctive aroma of coffee truly lifts my spirits, allowing me to start the day with energy and peace. As I savored each sip, I planned the day's tasks.
After that, I began sewing a prayer cap (peci) for worship. I carried out this work meticulously and patiently until midday. Sewing is not just about manual skill, but also about perseverance and a love for the work. Each neat stitch brings a special satisfaction, especially when the results can later be used for worship a simple joy that is difficult to describe in words.
Toward the end of the day, I continued my work in the rice fields to spray stimulants so that the rice seedlings grow stronger and more evenly. At the same time, I re-leveled the rice fields so they are ready to receive water well and support optimal rice growth. This work in the rice fields is indeed tiring, but it always brings a sense of peace when looking at the soothing green expanse.
To end the day, I took the time to enjoy the beauty of the sunset over the rice fields. The orange light slowly faded.
