This morning, I started my usual activities, heading to the rice fields with renewed vigor. The cool morning air felt refreshing as I began spraying the rice plants. I walked along the embankments, ensuring each part of the plant received adequate care to stay healthy and pest-free. Although I felt tired, I felt a sense of satisfaction seeing the plants grow well.
In the afternoon, I resumed my activities by gathering materials to make a peci (traditional prayer cap) for worship. This activity felt calmer and more relaxing, giving me time to think and enjoy the simple, yet meaningful process.
As evening approached, the atmosphere began to change. I spent time with my family on a leisurely stroll around the village streets, as seen in the photo. The slightly overcast sky and the bustling streets created a unique atmosphere.
We then stopped at a simple food stall to buy chicken noodles. The place was simple, but that's where the warmth lay. Enjoying warm chicken noodles with my family after a long day of activities felt truly delicious. Moments like these are simple, yet they bring extraordinary joy.
Today taught me that happiness doesn't always come from big things. From rice fields, simple activities, to togetherness with family, everything becomes a valuable story in life.
