The word "Obi na aso m" is Igbo language, and it can be translated to mean my heart is filled with. My heart is indeed feeld with joy, and that is why I have chosen this very song for this week's contest. I do not know if you too are happy, but I do not think you should be sad if you have a God as living as our God.
The Obinasom simply reminds us of the ever loving nature of God, the fact that he loves us irrespective of our unfaithful. He loves us so much that he gave his own life for us. Being a human, you automatically share in his love; I think you should also share in the joy that he gives.
For today's performance, I will be doing a unique version of this beautiful song. Unlike the original version, I will be doing a kind of acoustic version of the song. There will be no percussion of any kind, I will accompany my singing with just the piano sound from the keyboard.
