Hello friends of the hive Afritunes Community, my name is @jesus-son and I welcome you all to my blog on this occasion of the hive afritunes week 169. It is a pleasure to share music with you and I hope that you would love my interpretation.
This week I decided to delve into another language that many of my good friends here would relate very well with. People like @oluthomas @mamab and even @adaezeinchrist as she don decide to change citizenship to Hausa land, lolz.
Well make anybody no ask me weda I dey hear Hausa o, because I cannot answer that question, haha. The truth is that I found this song amazing and I decided to produce it and share here. Perhaps it may make sense to someone else too.
And please, I wish to beg you all very passionately, haha, don't laugh at the way I pronounced the words because I dey vex quick, lolz.
So the song I present is titled "Ga Yesu Ubangiji Shine Rai". I think it means "Jesus the Lord is life". Well this is a song that we sing in my church at times when we celebrate cultural day and we want to identify with all cultures.
We often sing this song on those occasions to recognise the Hausas in our midst. It is a song of invitation to come to Jesus who is the Lord of life.
Apart from the fact that I love the rhythm of this song, I am also in love with the words which are very rich. Already from the title one can see a very significant thing by referring to Jesus as the Lord of life or as Life and indeed it is what it is.
Our Lord is Life and the Lord of Life and anyone who comes to him would have life. It is that simple but the problem is that many do not recognise Him as such and so refuse to draw close to Him.
Dear friends, I invite you to a union with Christ who is Life and the Lord of Life and He will give life to your mortal bodies. It is a pleasure to share music with you and I hope this makes some sense to you. Thanks for coming around.
