Hello Hive Afritunes week #89, my name is @jesus-son and here I bring an interpretation to celebrate the week. I hope you feel entertained by what I bring you.
It seems I am falling more amd more deeply in love with our African songs, hehe. Well, it feels good and I think that is what this community is meant for: to enjoy those our African pieces together. Generally, I like music, but I feel that African music has a peculiar character. I have listened to varieties of songs and of course there are many great songs but indeed those from Africa is unique and I always make myself feel good by listening to them.
Normally, my best African musics are those in Igbo language and maybe it's because it's my native language and I understand very well whatever the musician sings when I listen to a song in Igbo. For the songs in other native languages, most times, I get attracted to them by their rhythms and on few occasions also their lyrics but that is when I have someone to tell me the meaning of the lyrics or I am able to check on the internet.
Today, I bring you a song in Hausa language which I cherish. I learnt it from my church choir and eventhough I didn't understand the meaning at the moment, I loved the rhythm. Now that I have a clue of what the song means, I have come to love it the more.
This talks about how the grace of God leads us in our journey to eternal life and of course even in the day to day living. Indeed, the grace of God cannot be overemphasised, bearing in mind the great sacrifice on the cross for man's salvation. It is a love beyond telling.
With deep joy I bring you this and I hope you enjoy. Thanks for coming around. God bless you.
