Hello lovely people, hope you are all settling well into this beautiful weekend which fortunately includes the the famous Easter Celebrations!!
Yeah, its another week to celebrate our African vibes, our African tunes, our African jam or melody as the case maybe. Special regards to the founder of this beautiful initiative and community @ksam and his collaborators @starstrings01 and @Obaro for their indefatigable efforts.
I remain of the opinion that Afrobeat and afro melody bring a distinct kind of effect and vibe. It just moves you to want to move your body. Even if you are sitting, it pushes you to at least nod to the flow.
Well I've heard severally that afro sound is somewhat spiritual and I simply agree. It hits you better when you connect your own spirit with it. 😇
This week I will be doing a medley flow of some popular Naija (Nigerian) praise songs that are widely sung all over Nigeria, Whenever the Christian family gather. Most of them are in Igbo language. Ps. ***Igbo language *** is a language commonly spoken in the South Eastern part of Nigeria.
These songs have or rather are created with African groove and music progressions. That is why African songs are so identical despite being sung in different languages, no matter which part of Africa you hear them.
