Afritunes week 173, I'm @sampraise77 and for this week rendition, I'll do a cover of a song titled Godiya Gareka by Kaestrings.
this is a soft, touching worship song where Kaestrings gives thanks to God. Godiya ga re ka means Thanks be to You in Hausa. It’s repeated like a prayer, putting you in a mood to worship and think. The song starts with: Yahweh, Yahweh / Godiya ga re ka... calling on God and praising Him with thanks.

The second part talks about how God saves us: Cause when I try to understand / The many ways You've rescued me / I'm amazed by all You've done.” It's like how many of us feel God is good, and He's kinder than we can understand. The song goes from singing to thinking, so you can stop and remember when God helped you or was good to you even when you didn't deserve it.

Saying “Elyon, I’m lost for words” shows how amazing God is (Elyon means “The Most High”). What He does is so big, we can't even talk about it.

Every time I hear “Godiya Ga Re Ka,” I feel something inside. It makes me think of times when God showed up out of nowhere, saved me from trouble, or was there for me when I was quiet. It makes me calm, takes worries away, and helps me focus on how faithful God is.

This song makes me thankful. When I feel down or can't find the right words to pray, this song speaks for me. I can say “Thank You, Yahweh” over and over, until I feel peaceful. It's more than just music; it's like giving in and worshipping, and it heals me and makes me feel closer to God.
